Week 1 #MMM

Here we are in June and it’s been my first week of Me May May (#MMM). Last Sunday I got my iron out and bashed the wrinkles out of quite a few items. A true feat, as most things never get ironed after they’re made I must admit. As I cycle to work and then get dressed at the office, things always get wrinkled in my bag anyway.

On Monday I wore my McCalls M4769, a recent creation. As I had a work do in the evening, it was perfect!IMG_3874 On Tuesday I wore my Colette 1015 Violet blouse. I love this pattern and have made it a few times, though I think next time I’ll make it a little longer. Ironing this on Sunday night made me much more inclined to pull it out of the closet on Tuesday morning. Lesson to self: be not afraid of the iron.IMG_3879On Wednesday I wore my Amy Butler ‘Anna Tunic’ Thursday I worked from home and trying to take a selfie in the mirror proved difficult. I managed to get a semi decent shot (which didn’t involved me dropping my phone) only to realise that it was in ‘mono’. Oh well. Thursday I wore an old McCalls M6078.IMG_20150604_132737Wahoo for Casual Friday, I wore my Colette Clover capris.

IMG_3898  Saturday my friend and I had a little photo shoot for the IPM2015 sewing contest, so I wore my new Ruby Dress, Made-By-Rae.
